Academic Skills
iKids computer curriculum utilizes a project-based approach to integrate multiple technology and academic skills. Students complete meaningful hands on projects while learning enriching academic concepts. Our curriculum aligns to TEKS (Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills Guidelines) and each technology based project promotes additional skills in school subject areas such as math, arts, history, language arts, science, and health.

Computer Skills
iKids unique curriculum teaches children important computer skills necessary in today's technology based environment. Through fun and exciting activities, children gain computer skills such as keyboarding, multimedia, programming, operating systems, graphics, spreadsheets, word processing, desktop publishing, databases, applied technology, and telecommunications. Our curriculum is partitioned into age and skill groups allowing students to comfortably create enriching projects that will assist in preparing them for a successful future, as well as develop a genuine appreciation of the power of technology.

Self Confidence
iKids believe children can do anything if they apply their minds. Children build self-confidence throughout the entire class in a positive environment where every child is successful. Children are encouraged by mastering checkpoints in the completion of their projects. Children are able to share their finished projects with friends and family, and will have a tangible reminder of the unique project they created. Students also receive a completion certificate as a reminder of their special accomplishment.

Teamwork & Social Skills
Teamwork and social skills are important for a successful future. Children not only create individual projects, but also work together on team projects. Children learn valuable negotiation skills as they work cooperatively to create a group project with each child's contribution. Children also develop communication skills not only working alongside their peers, but during project presentation opportunities interspersed throughout the curriculum.

Thinking & Problem-Solving
Children utilize thinking, problem-solving, and concentration skills each class from development to completion of their theme-based projects. Children continue the problem-solving process participating in our fun learning activities by reviewing and applying the knowledge of the computer concepts they covered during class.
